Character and behaviour

The surface ranges from pale cream to light honey, with subtle beige and gold veining. Polished slabs have a soft reflective quality without high contrast. Being calcite-based, it reacts to acids and will etch if exposed to cleaning products or citrus.

Best for

  • Bathroom wall cladding
  • Vanity surrounds
  • Floor tiles in low-traffic areas
  • Shower niches and shelving

Avoid for

  • Kitchen countertops near acidic foods
  • High-traffic floor areas without sealing

Care and maintenance

Seal on installation and reseal annually. Clean with pH-neutral products only. Acidic cleaners, vinegar, and limescale removers will etch the surface permanently.
